Dr Damage's Claim

Just checking, would you like that egg on your face poached or scrambled?

Very gutsy wins by both Sabre teams tonight. Hopefully they can both back it up tomorrow against the Tigers.

To add to that, Darren "not a PG" Ng offset a poor shooting night with 12 assists.

Marcus Ng & Jordan Dodman picked up the scoring slack & Darren hit some clutch shots when the game was there to be won.

I agree. Bit harsh Hoop; at least Dr Damage was willing to contribute to the conversation by posting his opinion.

I seem to have missed the season preview from you champ.

Although I'm sure it would have Sturt's mens team winning the title with your chum winning Coach of the Year along the way.

Chill out.

Top job done by the Woodville announcer for a first attempt.
Pretty good coaching effort by Paul Rees too - also a first attempt.
The big fella for coach of the year ?

(#125932),

"I seem to have missed the season preview from you champ.

Although I'm sure it would have Sturt's mens team winning the title" -

I dont think anyone's picking them to win anything - nor should they! They've lost 5 of their top 6 players (Forman, Smylie, Shephard, Gower, Bauer) from last year. They'll be happy with any wins they get I reckon.

"your chum winning Coach of the Year along the way"

Plenty of better coaches in the league with more wins amd more experience IMO - Sapwell, Symonds, Simpson to name a few.

C'mon now people - it's all a bit of fun. Dr D stuck his neck out & said they wouldn't win until March 31st, and they came up with 2 big wins on the weekend. I'm sure he's not taking my post to heart!

I think some people may be underestimating how devastating Norwood can be when they're on-song & were ready to write the Sabres off after their round 1 loss. They bounced back in the best way possible, with 2 tough road wins.

Good on them.
