Heard a wisper that Joe Ingles,Josh Wood and Luke Schensker could be slotting into the Southern Tigers ABL team later on into the season.
It will give the men in black something to cheer about!!!!!!!!

news just in Schecher turned down a full time contract with Portland because he said he has a desire to suit up for Southern this year! (Tongue in cheek)
Yer Ingles does a week ago i was at morphetvale thursday night and he was training with the aba squad and looked very impresive. He will play.

he aint playin mate. its his choice to train to obviously keep in a little bit of shape with all the booze he's downing since he's been here. joe ingles will not play ABA. he doesnt want to. and gee just coz he trains means jack shit...same with newley trainin with forestville - doesnt mean hes gona play!!!

Hot tip- he will suit for the Tigers ,maybe 4 or so games. Just to keep his hand in and keep fitness levels up. Should be good to watch and bring oot more fans hopefully.

then who knows.....as what joe ingles says and does sometimes are completely different to one another and he likes to say one thing and do another. haha. as a mate i hope he does bloody well play to pull crowds. people wont have the luxury to watch him much longer as he'll be gone in a year or so. nothing wrong with getting out and seeing Australia's best junior play in the local league and teach a few lessons and make a few posters of people!! haha
he isnt australia's best jnr player. newley would school him all the way. i think it will b more then a year or so before he hits nba. if he cant last a nbl season cos his fitness isnt up to it how in the hell is he goin to play a nba season. and also as he has said it would b 2009 before he even thinks about goin. to be honest i dont think he will make and the same with newley.
