$25,000 pocket change for an NBA player.

As CB would say, "thats just one blackjack hand"

Yeah if you read what happened, apparently the fan was heckling Bogut and other players massively the whole game. Even other spectators around him requested security to eject the fan.

I would have done the same thing.

Bogut rocks man! I feel sorry for him having to live amongst those horrible Americans. One day it will all be over and he can return to the shores of Australia and enjoy his immense fortune. God bless him, his family and loved ones.

Nothing like a passionate Aussie, that comes across racist. 'Horrible Americans', nice touch. I guess you feel sorry for him getting paid all those millions by them as well? Remember when our fans heckled Matt Neilsen to the point he went into the crowd...heckling happens everywhere!

If American Artest 'smacked him one' you would say "oh I never, oh the disgust I feel" but if Aussie Bogut 'smacked him one' you would say "on ya mate, they guy was a tossa."

Well kdog, I say it is you who is the tossa.

Bogut and any other player whether high profile or not, should control themselves so that their sport, their team and themselves do not ruin the tone of the game. It is not an excuse that he can afford to pay the fine so why not?! Just some maturity and self control is needed, that's all.

If you think $25k doesn't hurt a second year player, you're wrong. That's like a 19 year old getting a speeding fine. it's probably only about .2% of his wage that year, but its still money he can't waste.
