3 on 3 Tournament & 1 on 1 Challenge
Due to an organisation restructure and staff availability issues The Gardens Recreation Centre is now running our planned 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament in the last week of April School Holidays. The Tournament will be run on both Saturday April 28th & Sunday April 29th at the Parafield Gardens Recreation Centre.
The weekend will include a 3 on 3 Tournament and a 1 on 1 Challenge so both team and individual game has an opportunity to be showcased over the weekend. Compete for winner and runner-up trophies, prizes such as game balls and vouchers. Cash Prizes on offer for Open 3 on 3 Champions ($300), U18 Champions ($150) & Open 1 on 1 Challenge Champion ($100).
Team Nomination for the 3 on 3 Tournament is $60 per team which covers 4 players with a minimum of 5 x 15 minute games! Age Groups include U14, U16, U18 & Open and depending on demand we are happy to run male, female and mixed competitions.
Player Nomination for the 1 on 1 Challenge is only $5 per player and age groups are U12, U16 & Open with all being mixed. Number of entrants is capped so first in first entered applies so don't waste time getting your nomination in!
We will also be holding a 3 point shoot out during the weekend. Event Organisers will select the best few shooters seen across the weekend and offer them the opportunity to compete. Champion will win $50 cash and a ball as a prize.
Enter your team or just yourself in one of our events and come and enjoy the atmosphere created by the music provided by our DJ. Entire Centre is Air-Conditioned with glass backboards on Court 1 & 2. Sausage Sizzle will be held across the weekend with all proceeds going to the Childhood Cancer Association.
