The Gold Coast Heat was the most popular name in the voting competition but it was rejected following objections from American NBA management.

"We've respected the wishes of the NBA and the Miami Heat team and chosen not to use the name, but we think Blaze captures the essence of Gold Coast culture just as well," Claxton said.

DB5...we can only hope the Sixers come to reason and dont look at the most overated 3 man in the league. Tucker simply finishes the play of the other unselfish Tigers...he has no weapons beyond a layup. We need a 3 man that can create for himself.

Bit harsh isn't it, he brings scoring passing and rebounding as well, how many triple doubles does he have??

We could only wish a certain 3 man for us could do that..

He doesn't have the most reliable shot going around, but does Farley?

I'd rely on Farley's shooting before I did Tucker's.

The 36ers need defense, effort and consistency. Shad is great in an All Star Game but I'm not convinced that he'd be what Adelaide needs.

Thank god the majority agree Tucker is not the answer. When I first heard the rumor he was being pursued, it worried me. Hopefully some sense enter the 36ers recruiters.
