Joe Ingles - NBL Rookie of the Year

Glad to Joe Ingles, nominated Rookie of the year.
Had a great start, even when the local club did not pursue him with a decent offer.
Congratulations to a top perfomer through the season.

Go Jingles

Interesting quote by Ingles...

"I know a lot of people doubted me coming straight from the AIS so it was good to be able to make an impact in my first year."

I wonder who that was directed too???

'Had a great start, even when the local club did not pursue him with a decent offer.'

I'm not sure how the Sixers not offering him a decent contract effected his season...

Get over it though. We didn't get Newley or Ingles. Big deal. If anything, be grateful they didn't go to college, like they probably should have. At least you got to see them play in the flesh.

No, I'm not DC. All I'm saying is that it's getting a little annoying reading people complain about missing out missing out on these two kids ALL THE TIME.

I would've loved to have seen them in a 36ers singlet as much as anyone, but it didn't happen, and it won't happen for a long time.

I'm willing to accept that fact and I just think that others should too, rather than playing it up like signing one of these two (let's be honest, we would have only been able to get one of them) would automatically get us the 'chip.

There is a good reason why these two player didn't pull on Sixer jersey's, so they wouldn't have to not only read but listen to all the Player hater's in Adelaide trying to cut them down. Good decision boys!!
