ABA prect games

Does anyone know the result of Mt Gamb and West Adel. Couple of game swhere played over the weekend.
How did the new imports for mt gamb look

west won both games... first game by 2 points and second game by 10.. Mount Gambiers front court looked good, imports look solid and could put up some numbers but wests back-court was too good.

Mt Gambier are very average tho. Both the U20 State side and Forestville beat them easily.

West's Brendan Mann showed all the skills that got him into the NBL for sure.
Mt G - The club has done well in recruiting new and retaining the players that needed to stay from last season and working well to get sponsors on board.
Over the w/end there seemed to be no structure to this team - continually changed lineups which you would think would be fairly set by now so the players can get to know and rely on their teammates. New shooting guard from QABL doesn't seem settled and couldn't look after the ball at all (ahh maybe that is why he is a shooting guard?) and his shooting needs to start showing what the stats from the QABL stated. Big guys were impressive. But they also have only been together as a "team" for a week or so, so I would give them a few weeks to settle and they should be an OK team, if they work on a consistent team lineup. The club will enjoy success again in its team rebuilding although the loss 2 seasons ago of Sonya as their coach has impacted. The lady is a genuine basketball brain and current coach will only get better (and he does need a few seasons) by getting her seriously on board as a mentor.
But look out - the Pioneers have potential if they can gel.
