Horvath fouled out pretty early in the 4th quarter (roughly around 3 minutes in I think), just after he started to show some real inside presence scoring 6pts in a row.
Defense is something both teams really need to learn and for the Dragons surely that has to be a worry going into the finals?!
Copeland was mr clutch hitting the long range bomb to send it into OT - Much to everyones amazement Phil went with AJ in the OT and Copes warmed the bench (hamstring problems).
Some confusion with the scoreboard at the game showed 149-148 with the Sixers with possesion (approx 20 secs remaining), Maher went for a nice drive, double teamed and just couldnt get it to climb over the rim. However actual score was 149-147 - Would Maher/36ers gone for the glory 3 having known that? (BTW Phil used his timeouts! Even in the OT about 2 mins in! So for the first time I say - perhaps he could have managed the timeouts a little better LOL, would have been real handy to have one to sort out a last play.
It was good to see the guys fight back from what was looking like a possible blowout early on - Jacob scored teh Dragons first 11 points, Phil didnt even cross his legs, surely a coach who knows a player inside out would try something!?!!
Farley was a waste of space tonight (this is harsh but true) whenever he hit the court the team play dropped, all players energy levels seemed to drop, and we just stunk it up! Not a great way to see him off.
