Are North Adelaide making the trek to the Whyalla Junior Carnival this year in February ?......or any other Adelaide teams.

It would be good to see you back again.

Forrestville U14 girls div 1 are attending. To answer your question re Div 3 standard, North Div 1 under 14 girls attended last year and got beat so make up your own mind going on that.

DIv 3 standard!! What a joke, why do city people always have the assumption that country teams are shitter than city teams. As anon stated North div 1 girls got beat!!

get your facts right before you put down country teams!!

Whyalla Carnival is on the 10th and 11th February....

Its no suprise that forestville are attending considering who coaches them. As for the standard, country association teams are always competitive but not usually of Div 1 standard and Aunt nellies U70's would have beaten Norths U 14 div 1 last year in the 14's as only sturt and forestville had real Div 1 teams.

Dr, Only a two team comp last year and again this year in U14 girls so I'd suggest the other teams in the comp are way off Div 1 standard.
#411..only their track suits!
#412...ouch!

So when the top two teams finish in the top 4 (at nationals)again this year, as they well might, are we saying that for a true Div 1 std our top 5-6 ( in Adelaide) teams should always be in the top 4 in Australia?

How is this possible?
None of that grade finished on the bottom at the Classics.
A competition harder than nationals.

Not all the Forestville u/14s div. 1 girls are going to Whyalla,at least 3 of their taller players are not going. Whyalla are a very well coached side but still can not see them beating Forestville.

Dr,
If you look at the scoring for and against percentages of the teams last year I think all but 3 were in negative territory, this year both sturt and forestville , have 334 and 268 percent with south and southern in the low hundreds with the rest in negative territory. South are definitely on the way up and southern will be the next forestville in 2 or 3 years but right now 5 teams are below Div 1 standard.
Sturt and Forestville would be better playing a division up in say 16, 2's and this one side comp would come alive.
Just an opinion- not a definitive and Im sure there's plenty of reasons why it would not be better.

Not long to go now......i see the Forestville girls have a buy the Whyalla Carnival Weekend.

Is that good planning or what ?

It will be good to see the girls here in Whyalla. They might give us a lesson or two on the court, hopefully its worthwhile for ya's coming up.

Bring it on !!!!!

Southern the next Forestville? You can not be serious. They have lost girls and have nothing coming through. Be bottom two in the next 2- 3 years, not top 2.

Great Carnival again. Some tough games.

Well done to the Forestville Girls 14's. You easily won every game you played, almost a training run.

Thanks for coming. Very well coached, and drilled. Gives us a standard to look up too. Albiet a very high one.

Keep coming, it gives us more to work on.....thanks.

most of the Whyalla players that play in the city teams are actually playing div1 so that is saying something dont you think?? and with that most of the girls kick city girls asses so i think you betta be watching what you say about country kids next time....
