half time Lightning presentation Q

at the AIS game Friday night - they had a presentation -

1) I think it is really good that they are promoting this - it is so important to keep the up and comings involved.

2) but they introduced Modbury High School as "state knock out competition champions"

I understood the knock out champs to be -

Immanuel - open group (yr 11&12)
St Aloysius - (year 9 & 10)

can anyone confirm what was going on ?

to the lay person at the game - it appeared Modbury High were the number 1 school team in the state - don't even think they went to Nationals?
